At Firegrain Woodcrafts, we specialize in handmade, custom wood shelving and organizational units using the traditional shou sugi ban technique for quality craftsmanship.

Our Story

It all started when we needed a better way to keep our own garage neat and tidy. After cleaning out homes for six years, we saw how messy spaces can pile up and cause big problems. We wanted shelves and storage that looked great and lasted a long time.

So, we learned an old Japanese wood-burning trick called Shou Sugi Ban. By charring each piece of wood, we make it resistant against bugs, mold, and weather, with the added bonus of having a beautiful result.
